I don't think they should have one. It's a show about the French Revolution.. I can't see it's fans having some cute little nick name. But thats just my opinion

Actually many moons ago on the lesmis.com forum (around 1999) there was a big thread about this and the name they decided on was actually The Mizfits. It was done as a joke but it was done.

Actually, the student insurrection depicted in Les Miz does NOT occur during the French Revolution. That is probably the most widely held misconception about the novel and show.

But you do what you want. I'm a fan, but I will call myself whatever I want, it's up to you all to decide what's 'Official'

Ever seen Dame Edna's take on the Mizzies? She refers to the people at her show in the upper mezz. as the "Mizzies" or "paupers" who couldn't afford to sit in the orchestra.

Yet, she somehow heaves a few gladiolas their way.
