I have no idea what you are trying to communcate. WHAT exactly did you have a problem with? The use of grammar? The lack of upper case letters?

Really, what do you want for 20 bucks or less.

It's the same deal is the Fringe festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. It's hit or miss. Some of them are only worthy of the $20 and nothing more, some are worth way more but they're at the Fringe so they're cheap. It's meant to offer smaller theatre troupes and less well-known playwrights a chance to show their work to a larger audience in NYC.

There's a shot but it's, currently, only available to women. If you want it you need to pay your doctor under the table.

I don't even know where to begin with you. What do you expect? Some full-blown, flashy Broadway spectacle? The Fringe festival gives playwrights the opportunity to showcase original work, and as someone said, it could be pretty much hit or miss. That is what is so great about NYC - you have so many options. Often, these independent theater festivals are outlets for shows to develop, and who knows, maybe these shows will appear in regional theater, on off-Broadway or Broadway someday.

No one forced you to see any Fringe shows. If you really hated what you saw, you wouldn't have spent as much time at it as you said you did. No one is forcing you to see them. It is there for people who appreciate supporting the small, independent shows.

So before you criticize the hard work of these people (and you don't even offer any constructive criticism), why don't you go back to school and learn some grammar? Also, learn how to spell "community."

Are we sure the OP isn't praising the fringe at the expense of Broadway? I don't think there's just one way to read it.

Phyl....I saw that as a slight possibility...which brings me back to my first post: what the heck did the op TRY to tell us???

Well, I took his use of "embarrassing" and "sunk so low" to mean that he had a negative view of the Fringe Festival. Hopefully he will clarify himself, but unless he can put together a coherent thought, I don't think that's possible.

cfter mmunity

As defined by Tazber's World Dictionary:

CFTR (gene), a gene that encodes the above protein
source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CFTR

mmunity is short for: Immunity, a biological term that describes a state of having sufficient biological defenses to avoid infection, disease, or other unwanted biological invasion.
source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immunity_(medical)

So, cfter mmunity is a resistance to a protein encoding gene that can result in a serious inability to spell, use proper grammar, or convey a simple concept clearly.
