pascal/cabaret

i know we briefly touched on this subject on one of these posts, but i cant find it to read further about it.
i know i must sound dumb asking this question if he was, but was adam pascal in "cabaret"? im not sure if maybe whoever told me that may have confused him with norbert leo butz or something, but that is why im asking.

holy ****, where was i? i mean im not fortunate enough to be in nyc at the moment, but i usually dont miss something like that. anyway, thanks!

Norbert was the Emcee in the first national tour. Adam was the final Emcee from 10/03-1/04. He was unbelievably wonderful.

Wait, what???
They are releasing a dvd? Now I'm the one who doesn't know what's going on! Does that mean Susan is Sally??? Where can I find out more about this???

Cabaret is not one of my favorite shows...first saw it five years ago, and, honestly, it scared the hell out of me. I saw it this past December and thought Adam was really, really great. I was worried for some reason that he wasn't going to sound like himself, but the moment he opened his mouth and I heard THAT VOICE...just, wow. He took a risk with that role. He could have stuck with what worked for him (hot rock-star romantic heroes) but he did something new, and good for him.

I, like TheGirlInTheFrock, am going crazy!! Please, please, please tell us about this DVD. Last I heard about this was when there was a possibility of Alan and Natasha coming back to close the show.

Anyway, NYstateofmind's question has alreay been answered, but I think I'm going to take this opportunity to say -- once again -- how simply fabulous Adam was as the Emcee. I really didn't know what to expect of him, but it was wonderful to see him and hear his voice live after three and a half years, and it was a such joy to watch him. You could tell how much fun he was having with a role that he really, like NativeNewYorker said, took a risk with. Alright, I'll stop rambling... I love him so much!!

So this DVD.... where did you hear about this leomaxfrank? Is it really true?! *falls out of chair in excitement*

so leomaxfrank says there is one and robyn says there isnt... someone needs to do some investigating, i have to know.

I really don't think there is going to be a DVD. There would have been news posts regarding the filming.....

i always linked adam. saw him in rent and aida but never got to see him as the emcee. i would have liked to seen raul.
