Christian Musics Alter Boyz (Jim Daly, Carlos Encinias, Zack Hanna, Shaun Taylor-Corbett and Eric Schneider) play a fictitious boy band on one of the new episodes.
They are not appearing as the 'Alter Boyz' but they will be singing.
One song "What a Surprise" written by Gary Adler, the other song "That's What Friends Do" written by Michael Patrick Walker and Gary Adler.
no word yet what the name of this episode will be, or its exact airdate.
Here is a picture of the cast and the band together. (still no luck on finding the names of the 2 new sprites)

Oh! There are two new Sprites. I wonder if they are another herb- like Ginger and Basil 
Anybody know when the full show is going to air?

I could not be more excited for this. I wish I knew the airtimes so I could schedule my classes around it because I'm THAT LAME!!!

Found out the new names! Lilly and Root.
They've changed the site so sad to say you won't be able to see the original episodes unless you watch them on Playhouse Disney.

I wonder if Mark will come back for a special episode and have a cute little date with Johnny.

Nathan- that's really weird. I was just watching the 5 minute episodes yesterday!
I'm embarrassed to say that I watched those episodes at least once a week.

Yea- I taped all 5 of them when they first were aired.
I always watched them online though, so now that they aren't online anymore, I guess my once a week thing will no longer be.
When I need my fix, I'll throw in the tape

Doubtful considering its not "Mark" since its not the Boyz. And also because "Mark" is being played by a straight actor... for once. LOL.
