Just putting it out there. Why did she add that great bit of Sound of Music to her aweful song? I will give her props that she can yodel but, come on!

I'm just glad she likes theater. On the musical landscape, she's making a statement, saying that hiphop/rap interacts with the other musical forms, that Sound of Music is part of her cultural past, and that it resonates with more people than just people like us. Actually, she is indicating with her music what some of us are trying to do, bring musical theater into the mainstream musical consciousness.
She's doing us a favour, in my opinion.
