a little happy is a bit of an understatement, although i really like it, its much more comforting and its not so iconic, it lets u focus more on the show and not on its legacy.

I thought using artwork by Keith Harring would be appropriate. If you're not aware of his work, I guess it might be a little random.

I always though the RENT logo went well with the shows advertising campaign in the theater but unlike other shows you couldnt put the logo on the show and have it "fit in". I think if the show actually had bills like the RENT letters on the logo with various messages of something. like the show just assumes there are bills there by showing them on the logo. like if the logo had a candle in the middle, or if it had some sort of iconic prop used just near the title or something...

I kind of used love as a prop. It's such a dominant emotion in the show and I've always considered the piece to be more uplifting (I think the two characters holding up the heart triggered that) and optimistic than depressing or tragic. I think "Love Heals" was also part of my subconscious when I picked that particular Keith Harring piece.

i love that idea, so poetic and mature of u to think it up. i think love heals is an amazing song that sort of represents the show although its not in the show itself

well to me 19 is mature, seeing im younger, to any old thespian 19 might seem inspired if not naive, but a well put idea nonetheless

I really, really like it!

On the surface its happy and catches your eye. But if you examine it, it's really deep and has really great message that coincides with the show.
