1st of all i have nothing bad to say about carrie shields, he was so nice to me and my friends. on the other hand matt acted like i should feel privledged to be in his presence. anybody else get this treatment?
First off his name is Cary. Second off he is no longer with the show. Thirs off I have never seen Matt or Cary be anything but perfectly nice at the stagedoor. They don't have to do that.
Perfect!...I was just wondering which Rent cast members you liked and disliked...
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space
It may not be their "job" but being an a$$ is a sure way to lose fans! If they don't want to see their fans, they should find another way out of the theater or find another profession. Without an audience, they won't have jobs!
Yup, I just checked my watch and saw that it was time for another "what actors should and should not do at the stage door" argument. So I ran right over.
Have I ever shown you my Shattered Dreams box? It's in my Disappointment Closet. - Marge Simpson
Haha... so true. It just annoys me everytime. If you think of it in terms of another profession.... let's say a doctor. Imagine a doctor performing a thorough exam on you and the second you leave her/his office, she/he is rude to you. Technically, she/he is not being paid for the time when you exit the office, but one should be at least civil to those who help pay her/his bills.
You are very welcome to join and we love having new input on the boards. But PLEASE think before you bring up a topic like tihs. I know this sounds really mean, but the truth is that this is not a topic that needs a separate thread.
And, maybe you caught Matt in a bad mood or something? He was wonderfully nice when I was there.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Yup same here. I'm sure it's possible if he was in a bad mood, but I can't imagine him being obnoxious for no reason.

Not to be mean but honestly, its nice to know who you like or dislike but its not worthwhile enough to start a thread about it. I may very well like people you do not. Opinions are nice but starting a thread based on one person's is rife with potential conflict and agitation.
I saw Rent twice over the summer and the first time, it was June 30th and my friend and I had just missed one train so we had time to kill, and Matt asked us to join him in the bar next door! He said that his girlfriend was seeing Wicked and he had to wait for her but since we're 19 we told him we couldn't so he was like, that's cool and chilled with us outside the stage doors for a good 15 minutes- asked us where we were from, what we're majoring in college for, etc etc. Nicest guy!! Then, when I went back with a different friend on August 3rd, I asked him if he remembered me and he had to think for a minute but then I brought up some of the things we talked about and he was like, YES! I do! You're the girl from... blah blah blah. So I don't know what was up with him when you saw him but I thought he was awesome!
I have heard nothing but nice things about the guys' etiquette outside of the Nederlander. they do goof around with the fans they know and try to be ever so nice to the new fans. A friend and I gave Matt a card for his 26th bday. the next time she went she asked how his bday was and if he remembered the card and we were remembered. haha I have a good one. August 12, 2005 to the Cary fans we remember it as Muffin Day. it was a friday night show, and afterwards there wasn't a crowd but they all stayed and chilled and talked to us. and we gave muffins out. hehe. September 6th, Caplan was selling CDs outside after the show, he was more than nice about it even though he wanted to get to meet his girlfriend and head to Cary's gig that night.
it must have just been you. all I know is good stories
