Posted: 5/21/07 at 6:05pmEdison Cafe at the Edison Hotel on 46th/47th (?) between Bway and 8th. They have a counter, just request it. Many Broadway peeps also use the counter if they're alone. I've seen Mark Linn-Baker, Raul Esparza, and others I can't think of at the counter.

I don't mind really doing anything alone, and like I said especially like going to the theater alone, but for some reason eating is a different thing for me. I am thinking about trying the Edison Cafe and will let you know how it goes.

We love "The Evergreen" diner--- believe its on 46th---
Its right across the street from the Portland Sq Hotel--
Used to like "Ollie's" but they closed on 44th, and re-opened a much smaller (more expensive) version on 42nd between 9th and 10th- Not nearly as good, and the service was horrible !!
