Exactly how bad was she? What did they change for her? Could she sing at all? Any costume changes? Did she have a british accent?

i saw her and she was definatelly the worst mimi i have seen. I don't want to sound too mean but she was bad. She oftened cracked, her costume in out tonight was changed to black pants instead of blue and her acting was not that great. just my two cents.

I didn't see her (thank God), but I've heard really awful things. One person I know said she was easily the worst Mimi EVER. I believe her spandex were black, not blue. That was the only thing I've heard that they changed... I also heard she couldn't sing at all.

True. Not that I can actually say, having never seen Scary Spice, but from what I've heard... honestly, when I was watching Drew, I was seriously thinking "Thank God I didn't have to sit through Scary Spice." LOL. This whole celebrity thing, though... its bad. Its just BAD. Who wants to overthrow the casting director with me? *holds up torch and rope and duck tape and barricade-building materials and all sorts of fun stuff like that and looks around hopefully*

Scary Spice is not as bad as she is of said to be. Yes, her voice wasn't that strong, and yes, she's not a great actress, but she carried the role well. I'd say she's a mediocre Mimi, not a bad one. Certainly not the worst ever.

i'll help overthrow the casting director! But while the stunt casting annoys me i love jeremy and matt. Some fresh faces would be nice though!

Yep, saw Karmine instead of Scary too. Karmine wasn't bad, but I thought she sounded like a yodeler when she did Out Tonight. ("Ou-hoot, tonaht!") The current tour Mimi, Tallia Brinson, is FIERCE though. She's like an ass-kicking Mimi-doesn't pull of the sick and dying bit quite as well as Karmine, but you like her brass balls anyway.

well i saw rent three times in one week (don't ask!) and scary only went on once. THe other times it was karmine and dominique who both surpassed scary!

I have a quick question. What do you guys think about Rosario Dawson playing Mimi in the movie? I hope she is okay. Oh ya! Another question (I am very curious! LOL). About Tracie. What do you think about her. I have never heard neither of them sing.

I saw Mel B and I thought she was quite good. Not the best singer on earth, but she handled the gymnasticy bits on the bars very well, and her acting was good.

well i saw her and she was not that great. i felt her acting though was pretty good. Yes she did have a british accent...at times. She would try so hard to hide it for a lil while and when she wasnt thinking about it the accent would come through alot. Her singing was quite bad though when she started singing people looked around at each other and where like is this for real? Though her singing wasnt that good I enjoyed her acting but not my favorite mimi by any length

It was the voice. It was always the voice. She must have strained it when she was first rehearsing and I dont think she ever recovered. I have to wonder if she didnt do permanent damage to her voice. I was there one night in May when she performed during the first act but during intermission it was announced that the understudy (I think Dom) would be MIMI during the second act. I do have to give her credit for hanging in there but when I saw the show the next night with Karmine it was like the cast was re-energized. Too bad I never got to see her at her best.

i think scary had black pants because they looked better on her than the blue ones but i am not sure. As for Rosario in the movie, i want to reserve my opinion until i actually see the movie. I don't like to judge someone before i see them if possiable.
