hi i whould love to see inner city, maggie flynn , let it ride, jimmy and others on cd that have not been on cd what do you guys think.
DOTV. I can't find one ANYWHERE.
I'd like them to re-release the Original Broadway Cast of Les Miserables but with all the cut music that you can only hear on the complete symphonic recording or if you actually see the show. The dream cast version (live in concert) comes close to the entire show but actually does have several cuts.

I'd really love to own a complete recording of HAIGH BUTTON SHOES. THE OBC only has a handful of songs.
I would personally like to see an original BROADWAY recording of Chitty, if only for the cast.
I would like to hear a OBCR of Carrie.. but it will never happen.
Home Sweet Homer
Raggedy Ann
i want a professional copyof BARE

It would have been great if they recorded all of it with the original cast but sadly they just taped the same basic highlights that made up the two not-very-full discs of the London cast album.
The list of OCR's that have not been re-released on CD gets shorter all the time. We never did get SAY DARLING, INNER CITY, JIMMY or MAGGIE FLYNN (RCA Victor), THE GREAT WALTZ (Capitol), SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, or the movie soundtracks of LI'L ABNER and 1776 (Columbia), ARABIAN NIGHTS (Decca), DONNYBROOK (Kapp) or ANYA (United Artists.)
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
I second Bare, as well as Chitty. I would kill for arecording of Chitty with the orginal broadway cast.
alphieboy, you can get Bare songs off the official website, I don't know if they are still there.
I would like to see the La Cage revival and maybe Chitty.

Lennon would be nice, but that will be out soon enough (crosses fingers).
I think I saw Chitty at Virgin Records. It had a bonus track of Michael Ball singing 'Hushabye Mountain' which I heard on the Sirius Satallite Broadway channel. So it may be elsewhere soon.

The recent production of Follies starring Kim Crosby!
Also, they have to re-release the National Theatre's version of 'A Little Night Music' starring Judi Wench (excuse me).
