It must've been a late night last night. They are probably still sleeping or nursing their hangovers!

Yes, details! Was it like an office Christmas party? With drunken sexual hookups, regretted in the morning??
"Do you know ChrisLovesShows?" "Yes. Why, yes he does!"

I thought we would have tons of posts/details by now.
I'm starting to think the gang was abducted by space aliens for weird experiments on Broadway fans.
We're going to have to watch those who were "there" very carefully because they might not be themselfs--if ya know what I mean.

I wanted to know who the celebrity guest was.

broadwayguy2 hasn't been on-line. What did you guys do to him last night? Rob/Craig, I want a copy of the police report!

Just a quick note because I'm running out to play racquetball before coming back to Internet land this afternoon to say that last night was a lot of fun. For the 20 or so folks that made it, it was great to put faces to names and we had some very interesting conversations about the board and the wonderful world of Broadway... Also 2 very nice surprises, one being the attendance of the very lovely Felicia Finley (who I hope to see back on Broadway sooner rather than later), and the other a round of drinks sent by the ever gratious extraordinary talent Marc Shaiman.
We'll definitely be planning a larger one for the spring time frame if not sooner, and I'm personally looking forward to meeting more folks.

Wow, it was packed with celebs, lol...that means Felicia reads the boards.
Have another one in 2007 or 08...I can make it then.

What a GREAT guy that Mr. Shaiman is. How totally sweet. Maybe next time he will personally jump out of a cake along with broadwayguy2! Hey, that would make a great photo op!!

Felicia does not read the boards actually. In fact, we had a nice conversation about the negativity/bitterness on theatre message boards. Who knows--she may explore our board now that she knows it's not as bad as ATC. So, let's be on our good behavior--and especially be kind regarding Felicia--she was extremely cool. And, she's absolutely stunning! She's one of those gals who could make you forget you're gay! =)
It was a lovely group of people--unfortunately, I didn't get to stay too long (ushering WT). But, unless things got wild after I left, there are no scandals to report. Just a nice time had by all. =)

Maybe Mr. Shaiman should write a song about this board and we could all sing it next time. Do you hear me, Sir?
PS I hope no one started any rumors that broadwayguy2 and I were lovers like Jackie Hoffman did about Matt and Clarke.

I'm glad Rob reported in. I thought that the poster formerly known as Dollypop may have kidnapped them all.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I'll have more to post when I wake up from my nap. :)

I've been thinking about the dearth of reporting from last night's event. It occurred to me that we're not ever going to get the kind of detailed information we had naively hoped for....nor should we. The fact that details are NOT forthcoming indicates that people can go to an event like this feeling much less intimidated than they might be if their look and 'performance' was going to be splayed all over the message board the next day. Kind of classy, really.
Still curious, but I can live with it.

Yes for more specific details, you're just going to have to come to the next one.
A good time was (I do believe) had by all!

Phantom2, we all know that you and broadwayguy2 are the same person. It's a great promotional tool for you.
