i think the route to go would be jane k.
lady can sing, act & look the part (probably better than nicole kidman (love her, but ulla? c'mon now))
she has more star power than a b'way person would have, so if that's what they are looking for....

Agree re Jane or even Catherine ( not sure she'd want to I think she put paid to this type of work after Chicago) NOW how to we get Mel to pay attention!!!!!
