I'm curious as to who on this board is currently in a show, working on a show, in rehearsals, etc. If you are, high school? college? community? regional? off-broadway? broadway? tour?
I'm currently in rehearsals for Seussical. Yeah...anyway. Next week I'm auditioning for the play "The Crucible". I may audition for a summer opera festival that will be putting on Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance," Mozart's "Abduction from the Seraglio" and Jim Luigs & Scott Warrender's "Das Barbecu." I'm not sure about that though, because in February I will be auditioning for a summer regional production of "Hair" which I REALLY want to be in and I don't know if I could do both.
--Like an odd exotic creature on display inside a zoo, hearing children asking questions makes me ask some questions too...--

We're a community outreach program associated with a syndicated radio show and perform a libraries, churches and the like.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 12:40amHigh School- Just wrapped a production of "Stage Door" and in two weeks I am audition for "The World Goes Round." Right after Christmas we get into full swing rehearsels for that.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

Seems as though we have a Guys and Dolls theme going here. I just recently finishing playing Nathan Detroit at my high school.
