i'm sorry if i bothered anyone with the spelling or that I asked if anyone had pictures of tidina, or Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel. I'm very new to the board and didn't really learn what everyone is like and everything. From now on, I'll post about Idina or WICKED in those parts of the board. Sorry everyone. :'(

It's called topic subject's people - pay attention to them before you open a thread, it's the easiest way to avoid reading things you don't want to read!

Don't worry about it. Post whatever you want and ignore those who choose to read what they don't like in the first place. Only the moderators can tell you if you did something wrong. Not the board members.

How condescending can you be, Loge? Where in the title of "sorry" can one determine the content of the thread? Critical reading skills are needed when reading message boards. Denoting sarcasm is near the top of that list of skills.

I particularly enjoy the gay Republican brand of internalized homophobia...it has such a piquant after-taste.

Idina's BIGGEST fan...no worries. But, for future reference, the search key is your friend and can provide quite a bit of information.

Besides, who wants to be a queen, when one can be an empress? Our fore-sister who came up with the idea to call us gays queens should be hung by her heals. If it were me, we'd be called empresses, not queens.

This is a message board, its not a news article, there are no facts just opinions and you are allowed to write whatever you want to! Those who want to read it will and those who don't won't. People who start bringing others down on the topics they start have to stop!

That's the exact quote. Since I know the term 'queens' isn't being used to describe female monarchs, I would then have to go to the next commonly used expression, which would be a term for a very specific brand of gay men. Usually the type that are considered 'bitchy' and 'effeminate'. And though 'queens', in this sense, can be used as a pointed term of endearment, I venture to guess, from the tone of the post and what surrounds it, that it certainly was meant prejoratively.

Quite honestly, I'm sick to death of young gay people passing judgement on those they consider typical - or stereotypical. Those 'queens', as you so indecorously call them, paved the way for your ability to be out, have a boyfriend and talk about it on a message board.

Show some respect for them...and for yourself.

The meaning of the world "queen" isn't exclusive to female monarchs or feminine males. I think you're making too much out of his comments, regardless of what he meant. It ridiculous, quite frankly.

I'm just saying that it's not that big of a deal. That's all. 1) He is gay, and 2) Gays (I am one mind you) can be so hypocritical. If one of your friends called you "a little queen" would you take offense? Doubt it!
