hi,

i'm hoping to take my niece and nephew to see spring awakening and saw that there's an onstage seating option. how much of the action are they missing by sitting onstage? will they be asked to participate? i also notice that there's brief nudity listed as one of the warnings. are some seats more 'in your face' than others. i'd like to take them onstage, as it'd be more special that way, but i'm not clear on how much 'action' they would be seeing. are some seats exposed to more nudity than others?

also, does this show run late on a weeknight? ideally they'd be back home by 11...

thanks--

Depending on where you're sitting you'll either be behind Hunter Parrish's bare ass or Alexandra Socha's boobs.

You miss a lot of the action although the experience is amazing...I'd definitely recommend it to people who have seen the show already and know the story line. The band is on the back of the stage and is very loud so it's hard to hear the cast, especially when they sing.

It's great for the experience of sitting on a Broadway stage and hearing the fantastic band but you're probably gonna miss a lot of the story if it's your first time going.

You don't participate but the cast members do sit next to you at some points.

And the show should be ending around 10:40ish...

I second the motion that seeing it from the stage is NOT a great option the first time out...no matter where your seats are.

If you are worrying about both their bedtime and how much they should see, perhaps they aren't ready for this show. May I ask how old they are?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
