Just got another Telecharge survey about a new upcoming musical. The only thing more offensive than the potential for a musical version of this stupid movie is that they REALLY want to know if it will appeal to straight men.
Really???!!!?? Asking me this is like asking a vegan what they think about the new BBQ Brisket Whopper from Burger King
Hard pass.........
Didn’t a musical version play the West End? Glenn Carter was involved with it before Superstar and the Raelian religion.

What is more bizarre is both Bill & Ted will be opening in Waiting for Godot in the next few weeks.

Some people just live to be "offended" by something.
PS How is doing a musical of this movie any worse than making a musical out of HEATHERS, ROMY AND MICHELLE..., CLUELESS, XANADU, MEAN GIRLS, MRS DOUBTFIRE, BEETLEJUICE, KINKY BOOTS, etc etc. Sometimes they work ---most times they don't.

Not really --- I was offended by the fact that this survey was blatantly asking an out & proud gay man if they thought this musical would appeal to straight men.
Unfortuantely, "How the hell would i know??!!?' was not a box i could check.
And unlike those movies you mentioned, a few of which i enjoyed the musical versions of, i really don't think think this particular one would make a good musical .......... regardless of my race, gender or sexuality....... AT ALL
I received a similar survey a few weeks ago, only this one included similar questions about Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
My comments were that I was only interested in Bill and Ted if it was an immersive production and I could go on a water slide with Napoleon.

Is the survey supposed to know you're gay and only email you surveys about content it deems relevant to gay people?
I had assumed you were offended by the homophobic content in the Bill and Ted movies, which is mild and benign by eighties standards, but... still technically there.
Sweet baby cheese’s if this offends you that much, how do you get through a day with out constantly clutching the pearls!

I got that survey last week.
I didn't grow up watching the movie, so I have no nostalgic connection to it and as such have no particular enthusiasm for a potential stage adaptation.
However, I'm open to the possibility that if one were to be made it might be good, or at least a fun time waster.
