where is the best place to sit for this show and where do you go for the best price tickets?

If you are in the city, go directly to the box office as you will avoid service charges.  If that's not an option, then you'll have to go through either ticketmaster or telecaster - whichever handles the show.  Any other sites are brokers and their service charges and prices are ridiculous.

Lion King is one if those shows that never seem to offer discounts.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Best seats: Pride Rock. Such a great view the f both the show and audience. The only downside is that you are situated below the stage for half the show. Also the ticketing office on pride rock are so nice too. They speak giraffe, but they always give the best prices.

We saw this at the Mischof theater near Times Square in NYC a couple of weekends ago. We sat up on top though we got our tickets before hand instead of waiting the day of so we had them by the time we went to see the show. I hope you enjoy!!

As with most shows, i'd aim for front mezzanine or middle orchestra. Either option, try to stay in the center. Near the aisles on any side, as long as it's orchestra, will be really cool too for this show, based off the opening number. The best play to do this is just by paying full price on whichever website Lion King directs you to. Probably Ticketmaster or Telecharge. It seems like you're prepared to shell out money; you'll definitely have to for this show.
