If the two pictures on their website are any indication then I don't want to see the rest of the sets or costumes.

If you have any interest in seeing the god awful costumes, there are some photos in this article... proceed with caution folks. This is some scary stuff.
Yikes!

And we thought the Broadway costumes/sets were bad. They went WAY cartoony on these.
On the plus side, Ursula looks like she is a giant. Not sure how that is a plus, but it's something.

Posted: 6/23/11 at 9:51amWhy does Sebastian have two heads stacked on top of each other? And why are Ursula's tentacles made from extra-thick pool noodles painted purple?

wow, it is very theme parkish. Why not just use the actor's head for Sebastian's head?
I can let Ursula pass, if she was on something with more of those tentacles she would be better.

Posted: 6/23/11 at 4:01pmI agree with jakebloke. The costumes are not that bad. They could be better though. I don't understand. One of the main complaints of the Broadway version is that the costumes did not look like the movie costumes. These costumes resemble the look of the movie, but they're still not good enough. What more do people want? Beauty and the Beast's costumes were literal, but no one complains about those.

It looks like an extremely cute show for kids. Nothing more, nothing less. The costumes are just that.
what more do people want? these theatre queens won't ever find peace in a show.

This is an album of production photos from the show. I kinda like them.

Posted: 6/29/11 at 1:04pmI, for one, liked the Broadway costumes. It was the set, book, and choreography I took issue with. To me, these look like cast off costumes from The Little Mermaid on Ice.
