Into the Woods has the best structure for a movie. Lots of plot and lots of action. Even the reflective songs, especially Giants In The Sky and On the Steps of the Palace would work great on film.
And if Sweeney Todd is a big hit, Hollywood is bound to green light another Sondheim show.

I'd say Into The Woods and Miss Saigon also.
And it would be cool if HBO tackled Last 5 Years as a small film. (Could add additional background characters, but keep 95% of the focus on the two leads.)

Miss Saigon would work wonderfully as a film, although something tells me they'd find a way to change the ending.
Also Light In The Piazza would be awesome shot on location in Italy. I'm thinking Meryl Streep as Margaret.
