who's having a tony party? what are you doing for it?
we're decorating the room like venice and a spelling bee, and we're all going to get a litte dirty and then we're going to burn Spam with a little bit of doubt. seriously. before the red carpet, we'll be watching the 1967, 1971, and 1984 tony awards, my favorite years. we'll also be betting. it will be the best damn party in the world! what is everyone else doing?

I'm hosting a gathering of NYC's theater-going elite! Nothing fancy - I've got clips of different news segments featuring this year's nominees, a mix CD of the nominated shows, and I'm serving Italian. Fun!

I'm going to a Tony party...they probably aren't going to watch the whole time, but they know I'll be glued to the tv, so they know not to disturb! :)

I'm having some friends over and we'll have junk food and so on. Unfortunately they're not all big Broadway fans but they know that if anyone is distracting they will get a beating.

i wish i was having a tony party! but its a school night and i doubt anybodys parents would let somebody have a tony party. it'll involve me eating popcorn cheering and running around when DRS wins awards lol. GO NORBIE GO!

going to one of the T parties in NYC. I don't love parties but, it should be fun especially since at least ONE of the four shows that will be hosting this party is a shoe in.

Dirty Rotten- I hear ya, I'm still in school too and NO ONE is letting us kids have a party 'cause we 'have to get up early for finals' *rollseyes* what bull. Don't they know that the Tony's are more important than studying? lmao.

But I'll still be watching tonight... all alone... with my ice cream. lol

I'm having one tonight. I gathered a few of my friends and baked cookies. My mom bought some ice cream, in case for a few upsets.

I decorated my family room... which is really rather dorky, considering I'll be the only one watching. I put all the CD cases from the nominated shows on the mantel. I dressed up a pillow ("The Pillowman" - get it? get it? ) I taped "Charity Hope Valentines" to the fireplace. I hung theatre-related t-shirts all over the room. For dinner, we're having 'The Light in the Pizza' and fruit salad (including 'James La-pineapple'), and for dessert a heaping slice of 'Cherry Pie Jones.' Plus, I bought a bag of 'Victoria Clark bars' (otherwise known as 'My Unfortunate Confection') which I will break out if she wins.

I'm supposed to go to one of the NY ones a little later but I'm not sure if I'm actually going to go or not.
