does any one know if vanessa williams has any more broadway shows coming up ?

Yes she will be this 828th replacement for Roxie in Chicago.

I would doubt it for a while. I think she is pretty busy with Ugly Betty.

Due to the enormous success of ABC TV's UGLY BETTY (which goes back into production next week), the only time Ms. Williams would have to do anything on Broadway would be during UGLY BETTY's hiatus,which is in late Spring 2008 -- and which is only about 3 months. This short time is the period when TV actors make their film appearances and New York theater short-runs.

Yes, if Williams was going to do Broadway it would have been between during the late spring/early summer. By now she's back on the set of UGLY BETTY.
I'm thrilled she got her very well-deserved Emmy nod.

E! True Hollywood Story just featured her this evening. it ended with her doing Ugly Betty. Initially the show was to be filmed in New York and she took it because her familiy is there. Now that the show is filmed in CA, she has been flying home to see her kids. Her daughter said it was ok if she wasn't there every weekend. They really showed that family and kids come first. I would suspect that when she is not doing Ugly betty, she is going to be spending as much time as she can with her kids and family. Just my thoughts.
