Basically he says there is a lot to like, but the show tries to do too much and needs focus.

He basically says that there is a diamond in the rough that needs a little more polish because it's a little try-hard right now in the story they're dreamed up!

I read a bit of the review . And thought it was positive. But ART did not post it. So was not so sure?
will it go to broadway?

It wasn't negative, it was constructive!
And I have a very strong feeling this is going to Broadway even though nothing has been announced.

I'd be shocked if it didn't as the director's schedule is wide open for it.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
