Gypsy. My friend and I were going to see it but we didn't get tickets in time. I have the '03 Revival Cast Recording, and it's really good. So now I can 'pretend' I have seen it. lol. From what I hear, however, the music is better anyway.
It hadn't yet opened when I was down in March 1982 and by the time I got back to NYC in August 1984 it had closed.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks." Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
