Yeah, I keep the list for my own amusement really. You should see the one I have that even has the seats I had on it...I need mental help, I swear.

I saw Rent once in SF and then The Producers once in Hollywood, otherwise I havent seen anything else and i'm soooo jealous of the rest of you!
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: 24 (I was in it for a short while)
Blood Brothers: 4
Rent: 3
FAME: 2
I'm in agreement with edonic_singer, I'd rather see a lot of shows once, rather than see one show a lot.
I've seen RENT 25 times.....from Seattle, to New York, to Milan. I haven't seen it in years, and the last time was horrible.....certainly not the same show it was 7 years ago.
I will see most shows at least twice, because I often enjoy them more the second time.
I agree with jakebloke, unless I absolutely HATED a show I'll make an effort to go back to it. However, I didn't hate all the shows I only saw once, some of them closed before I went back.

I have seen:
Phantom: 53 times
Rent: 3
Question- To those of you who have seen an excessive amount of shows/ a show an excessive amount of times, how can you afford it? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have seen as many shows as you, but I just know that prices are insane these days, and I wonder how you lucky people pull it off. :)
I know I've seen Rent the most times, but I'd have to go dig up and count my playbills to know exactly how many
Just kidding. Anctually I've only seen Little Shop once. That's it....
beauty and the beast - 7x

Wow, how do you guys have the money to see one show so many times? 69 times at "Cabaret?" 30 at "Wicked?" Man...even if I did have the money I wouldn't see them that many times! I think that if a theater experience is really good, there's no need to try to replicate it. The only time I'll ever see a show again is like, a year later. I saw "Jekyll and Hyde" three times during it's three year run, "Kiss Me Kate" twice, and over the course of their long runs, "Phantom" four times and "Les Mis" 3 times (well, 2 and a half, since I second-acted it).
Well like I've said before, I don't think there's a show I would ever see 69 times again, but ROCKY HORROR was different each night. You never saw the same show twice and that's what made it so exciting and why I kept going back. And I would only get the rush seats so that's how I could (barely) afford it.
The only show I have seen more than once was Aida (2)
I feel so deprived, the most ive seen of any show is twice. That might change once the Les Mis tour gets here and it'll be my third time. :-P

baritone, seeinga show a second, third, etc time has NOTHING todow ith replicatinga nything.. at least for me. To me, the beauty is the each experience is So ifferent. the closest I have come to replicating was when I saw Bare two times in a row from the same seat and that was just a fluke of ticketing/seating.
Marc Shaiman "I must have seen HAIRSPRAY over 500 times, at least! I just love it! "
That's only because you're sleeping with the lyricist.
Lol
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
