i can see Kerry and Michelle as Christina Colgate. I can also see Kelsy Grammer as a good Lawrence. But I can't see Roger or Hunter as Freddy. They both seem too soft spoken for Freddy. and Steve Martin was an awesome Freddy in the 80's but he's just too old for that now.

Daniel Davis? not so sure about that. He just doens't seem like he'd be able to cut loose enough and Lawrence has to somewhat Sexy or charming, I don't see him being able to pull that off at all.

Mario Cantone as Freddy
I know people hate him cause he's loud and obnoxious
but that is Freddy and He can sing and if u saw him as Nathan Lane's replacement in "Love, Valour...."
You know he can act too

Steve Martin is too old for Freddy but I think he'd be incredible as Lawrence.

Steve Martin acts too much like Freddy. Even though his age is right for Lawrence, I just don't see him playing that role.

I saw Joe Cassidy the understudy for NLB and he was excellent.

Kelsey Grammer would make a brilliant Lawrence!
Also Gary Beach and James McNaughton could be fun in the role.
Or Gregory Jbara, who's playing Andre at the moment.

Freddy sings too much for Mario Cantone. His voice gets annoying after a while because it's so grating.
I vote Hunter Foster and Victor Garber, because I have a little crush on both of them

. (After I saw the Godspell movie, I went around telling everyone that I had a crush on Jesus).
