Because it didn't make enough money anymore. During its last summer it was running at about 75%. Not good enough for Disney.

Disney does suck. AIDA should have stayed open, and other shows that were running at 39% shouldn't stay open.

i know emcee! yeah four to five years is a long time but i was wondering whether it was loosing money or another show was booked. It just seemed to have closed and there is usually a reason.

It wasn't so much the role of Radames they screwed up. I found Chase to be a very servicable Radames. It was the role of Aida that they messed up on.
