I searched and found nothing on this subject...I had some tickets up on ebay and my 2nd place bidder asked me if I knew any ways to get tickets this late...does anyone know how the cancellation line has been post chenoweth? Thanks!

Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.

Well,I got tickets easily in the cancellation line even when Kristin was still there and this was a month before she was leaving. I was first in line though and got 2 tickets. I don't know how many other tickets were available after that. :)

yeah I got tickets 3 times before...someone else was asking me and I would hate for him to get into the city and not get tickts.

As I've already said a few times, I've been successful on their cancellation line the only two times I've tried. One time I managed to get 5 tickets, and the other time I got 2. Just try to be really close to the front and be willing to wait and not give up.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

With cancellation lines the key is not to give up. Even if it's 7.55, hang in there, you'll get it in the end if you're near the front.

JakeB is right, the time I got my 5 tickets I got them (4 together in row G, one a few riws behind them) as they were ringing the bell for everyone to sit down and the curtain to rise.

How does that work? If someone doesn't want their tickets they give them to you?

Well sometimes people will turn in tickets they can't use and then one of two things will happen:
1. The BO will accept them back and then sell them on the cancellation line
2. The BO will not take them back but will tell them to take someone from the cancellation line outside the theater and sell it to them themselves.

Generally speaking though, the BO will sell seats that haven't been paid for yet before they sell someone's ticket which has been turned in.

I got mine at 6:55 (Tuesday show) and I had to race upstairs and change clothes, because I was still in shorts and a t-shirt which is gay death for the theatre. I've already wrote about it, but I was standing by this girl who sang the entire score (after warming up) and recreated her favorite scenes... That's commitment.

My brother and I waited in line for five hours on Saturday night, Memorial Day weekend and got nothing.
