yay for swings/understudies/ensemble members!

who is your favorite? so you even know the names of any? which swing or understudy could so take over the part every show?

my heart goes out to yasmin alers-that girl has worked her but off as mimi for a long time. she is beyong the point of deserving that role... my life will not be complete unless i can open a playbill and see 'yasmin alers-MIMI'

anyways... what are your thoughts?

also, props to: Barrett Foa and Saycon Sengbloh (though not currently on B'way, I still love her).

Ill second Cheyenne and Saycon. And Emcee she told me she was starting rehearsals for The Color Purple so she isnt gone!!
Though scattered and divided we are still its heart...AIDA SEPTEMBER 5th, 2004...one more longing backward glance... I AM NOW "TGIF!"

I say YAY for all the swings, understudies, and ensemble members that are on broadway because they are all so hard working and are under apprieciated.

i love ensemble members. i also like seeing uderstudies unless its someone who i really like in the role(example i would be pissed to see mjw or carly jibson out) but would love to see john jeffrey as link.

hmmmmm im not even going to begin a list. i think they are all awesome. even if i havent seen them. by the way.. whats the name of idina menzel's understudy? i really wish she would get some stage time... ::hides from angry mob of idina fans::

Peter Lockyer is my favorite. He understudied Rodolfo in La Boheme on Broadway. I saw him in the role twice and he was absolutely brilliant. Now he's with the Phantom tour and he understudies the Phantom, Raoul, Piangi, and Andre. Wow. He's also the nicest guy in the world and the only actor who knows my name. re: yay for swings/understudies/ensemble members! I adore him.

Hah...Anyone know if Shoshana is single. She needs a nice Jewish boy to marry and I am quite willing to oblige. Her riff after "Mama, I'm a big girl now" was amazing and made me cream myslef everytime...oops...too much info.

Actually I would throw in Yasmin Alers and Adam Fleming (don't want to make Broadwayguy mad) :)
