That's probably it. I just remember the part about watching cartoons felt cheesy in the moment, but it doesn't bother me now and agree is one of my top favorites on the album. Close between this and Great Expectations for favorite.

The recording is gorgeous. So rich.

Also, why did I think they should cut Throwin' in the Towel after the first preview, but now it's one of my favorites. Feels like they changed some of the lyrics?

The structural problems were my biggest nit as well but I still enjoyed the show overall.

Well this writer sure invested a lot in his review.

Why is the sound mixing on the highlights video so muffled? It does it a huge disservice to how incredible those songs sound.

For some reason, I think it's going to draw more positives than mixed, but will not be a NYT critics' pick leaving us all to wonder how Water for Elephants was. 

This looks incredible actually.

I'm curious if anyone who saw this earlier in previews has seen it again recently and if significant changes have been made? I'm going to try to come back later this spring and might see it again. Prioritizing other shows first, but if there's time I really did enjoy this on first preview though it needed some tweaking and cutting.

Yet, Water for Elephants was a Critics' Pick. Make it make sense.

I do think in this case, the show's circus appeal combined with the reviews will help sell tickets.
