Archduke at Laura Pels Oct 29

I enjoyed it today. I honestly wasn't sure how the humor was going to be played, but it worked well in this. I agree that the three boys did a great job, especially Jake Berne. And Patrick Page as usual did good too. And I found myself looking up his character after the show. Kristine Nielsen was also good - I wonder if I'll ever look at cats or preserved cherries the same way.
I liked the set too, always nice to see something other than projections. I think

All three boys did a very good job in their roles, but Jake Berne, as the lead, gave his role more levels. Page and Nielsen were, of course, good too. The whole thing moved quickly (partly because of the changing sets) and while Roundabout has it listed as 2 hrs and 15, it was defin

I saw some for $129 during the Mastercard pre-sale today. I think they might hold back some tickets at all price points. It looks like there were other seats open but not available to buy during today's presale. I don't know if the member ones were the same. The $129 seats are just on the sides of the back few rows, from what I saw.

Hugh Jackman to hold 12-performance concert series at Radio City Music Hall Jan 25
2025, 01:41:01 AM
My mom and I went to the first show tonight. I didn't take notes, so apologies if I miss anything. It started around 8:15, and while it said sold out outside, based on what I saw on ticketmaster the other day and in person tonight it wasn't. But it was pretty full. Hugh started singing, then gave the agenda and estimated running time (he said about 1 hour 45 min, maybe a bit longer depending on how much he talked). He also said no encore. It was 10:02 when we got up and he

I wouldn't be surprised if they do offer them for sale eventually. Though maybe not all 4 covers for every show? They might be waiting to try and get people to go to see the shows to get the designs since fall's a slower time. I could see more demand for the covers as it gets later in October too as fans try to collect the

At &Juliet tonight, it looked like my usher had multiple designs. I heard a couple people mention the new, anniversary covers but didn't notice if anyone tried asking for more.
The anniversary cover is just placed over the standard, modern one, with a blurb about how they're doing the different covers this month for the anniversary on the inside.

I was wondering that too. At first I thought it would be one design per week but the original announcement on Playbill said "Playbill is encouraging audience members to take one special Playbill per visit, and to strike up conversations with seat neighbors to share their own Broadway history and trade covers. " which sounds like there will be multiple designs at a performance. Coincidentally I'm going to & Juliet tonight, so I guess I'll see first hand

A lot of threads are introduced and then need to be tied up, which leads to the themes getting muddy. It’s not an unpleasant experience, but there was a sense of “what is thisabout?” for me. The cast is pretty solid all around even if the characters they’re playing aren&r
