New Jennifer Nettles musical, GIULIA, will premiere in NY this fall

Thanks!

BROADWAY DISCOUNTS

Has anyone seen anything for PAC NYC, specifically Guilia the Poison Queen of Palermo?

Unfortunately none of the deals on the PAC Ticket Savings program can be used by me.

Has anybody been to the PAC for a closed caption show? I've seen opera before with the supertitles in English, I'm not sure if the PAC is similar.

I was looking at tickets and see that all the shows starting July 8 are listed as closed caption. I'm not sure how annoying it would be, and if I should try to go before that date or if they're not too obvious.

Les Miz the Staged Concert at Radio City

the casting has been announced for several of the roles https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Alfie-Boe-Samantha-Barks-and-More-Will-Lead-LES-MISRABLES-THE-ARENA-CONCERT-SPECTACULAR-in-New-York-London-Dublin-and-Birmingham-20260414

Some of the main ones, like Valjean and Javert, will alternate based on the day. The tour site here https://worldtour.lesmis.com/cast-creative/ shows the cast’s schedule for the tour dates if you click on their headshots

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 1/18/26

Operation Mincemeat had a nice jump in % capacity. I wonder if this was in spite of, or because of, all the covers they had last week?  I think most shows had three understudies on, with a couple quadruple cover shows. I've heard about the bingo they do, so that could play a role too. Maybe this is a good sign for the show after the original cast leaves in Feb.

Mezz row D seat 8 for Two Strangers - great seat, except for the tall gentleman in front of me

The Official TDF Thread

I haven't checked regularly, but right now I only see the 8:30 show for Sat 1/10 and 1/17.  (Sunday 1/11 and 1/18 has the 2:00 and 6:30 shows available)

Two Strangers is up with multiple January dates (edit to add) and some in February too

Archduke at Laura Pels

I enjoyed it today. I honestly wasn't sure how the humor was going to be played, but it worked well in this. I agree that the three boys did a great job, especially Jake Berne. And Patrick Page as usual did good too. And I found myself looking up his character after the show. Kristine Nielsen was also good - I wonder if I'll ever look at cats or preserved cherries the same way.

I liked the set too, always nice to see something other than projections. I think

All three boys did a very good job in their roles, but Jake Berne, as the lead, gave his role more levels. Page and Nielsen were, of course, good too. The whole thing moved quickly (partly because of the changing sets) and while Roundabout has it listed as 2 hrs and 15, it was defin

Archduke at Laura Pels

did anyone go see this last night? Or planning to over the weekend?

I'm going on Weds, and curious to hear what others think, though earlier productions seem to have been positive

it's open for general sale now.  It seems like there's more seats, though the mezz sections are more picked over.  they have a queue in place but I didn't really have to wait

Tom Hanks to lead self-written play THIS WORLD OF TOMORROW at The Shed

it looks like they raised ticket prices after the first 5 shows.  Now it's $45, $179, $249, $304, $359. Even for all the shows marked previews!  Glad I decided to try on Tuesday

I saw some for $129 during the Mastercard pre-sale today. I think they might hold back some tickets at all price points. It looks like there were other seats open but not available to buy during today's presale. I don't know if the member ones were the same.  The $129 seats are just on the sides of the back few rows, from what I saw.

Hugh Jackman to hold 12-performance concert series at Radio City Music Hall

My mom and I went to the first show tonight. I didn't take notes, so apologies if I miss anything. It started around 8:15, and while it said sold out outside, based on what I saw on ticketmaster the other day and in person  tonight it wasn't.  But it was pretty full. Hugh started singing, then gave the agenda and estimated running time (he said about 1 hour 45 min, maybe a bit longer depending on how much he talked). He also said no encore. It was 10:02 when we got up and he

I just came here to say that too.  I was wondering when I bought mine earlier that if they were holding some seats back for the later pre-sales/general public sale but bas

Retro Playbill Covers to be distributed at every Broadway show in October, for company's 140th anniversary

Once Upon a Mattress just had one design when I went, and that was with casually checking multiple levels too

I wouldn't be surprised if they do offer them for sale eventually. Though maybe not all 4 covers for every show?  They might be waiting to try and get people to go to see the shows to get the designs since fall's a slower time. I could see more demand for the covers as it gets later in October too as fans try to collect the
