She was leagues above Audra and Patti in this role. When I saw her, she sounded great and acted the hell out of it. It felt like a fresh take on this role.

She should never have won the Oscar - and the other awards. She’s a perfectly competent Broadway hoofer, but she’s not a star. She doesn’t have a good enough voice.Jasmine Amy Rogers however is a sensational star. She has it all and it’s SHE who a revival of Sweet Charity should be built around

Damn his casting is bad. They have to get rid of him or it will turn even uglier. If I was a fan of this show and went regularly, I’d be incredibly upset about his casting.

Prada Broadway is not happening. They are very aware it would get crucified there. It will run a bit longer in Europe, and then they’ll inflict ultimate upon Europe and possibly Australia who are always looking for shows.

Nicolaw only agreed to do Hercules if he was given Greatest Showman.

It wasn’t reviewed on purpose- no press were invited. I saw it, it was hugely disappointing, hopefully they are doing a lot of work on it for its london opening.

The Greatest Showman is opening at Drury Lane in london, next spring. Announcement is coming in a matter of weeks.
