Little Shop...Who Leads? Anyone know?
 Jan 31 2024, 01:45:53 PM

Completely agree. Seymour should be understated, imo. I thought Criss was fantastic. Funny, adorable. Evan killed it! she blew me away. Her voice, and the emotion she brought to the role were show stoppers. The energy from the crowd was enough to keep me going for days. I'm currently looking for tix to see them again during their run. I can't wait to see how they develop.

Ok, so I guess I was the only person who saw the real crop-duster chasing Carey Grant? As I assume others would be discussing both the logistics and safety of this particular stage-effect... Too bad, because along with the twerking and nude scene, it was the highlight for me.

I love everything R&H, but funny enough, my absolute favorite is their Cinderella. The score is perfection. I have a DVD of the made-for-tv version with Leslie Ann Warren and Alan Quatermain (from general hospital). And I almost love it more than my children.

Well, we were supposed to see Six yesterday, so my 6 year old came up with her own routine for the opener... hope it makes you laugh, like it did us

Same here - received an email from TDF stating to be patient and refund might take up to 10 days

I wonder if they mean 10 days after purchase or the scheduled performance? I am still waiting and it is going on two weeks since I purchased them.

What if Broadway shows went on with audiences limited to 250?

they, most likely, wouldn't be able to collect insurance if they continued performances.  actors/staff couldn't collect unemployment.  they would stand to make more not working than performing for a small amount of people

Broadway to Close?

I figure if it continues longer, they will again refund for the tickets I buy. I know I sound completely self-centered worrying about trying to see these shows, but I figure my desperation (and those like me) will help broadway bounce back, when the time comes.

Broadway to Close?

Are people buying tickets for late April/May to replace those cancelled? I don't know whether to grab them now, as they may be hard to get later or wait it out? I know this is unprecedented, but would love to know other's opinions. thx.

I tried and lost, I figure my tickets for 4/5 will be cancelled.  I keep checking, hoping there will be people who choose not to go...  but not looking good.

Very curious as to how this night will run (red carpet), and if celebrities are cancelling. Anyone going?

What about the NYC half marathon? Tens of thousands of people, fluids flying...  I don't understand it.

Thank you Thank you Thank you!  My most anticipated show of the season!  Grabbed a couple of seats for 3/18!  worried about trying to deal with st. paddy's day shenanigans on the 17th.

I'm a Broadway usher, and our production has very specific rules about when and how late seating can occur as well as when/if people can be reseated if they get up during the show. Sometimes people will literally run ahead of us so we can't catch them to escort them back to their seat, or kick up such a fuss about having to wait to be reseated that it genuinely causes less of a distraction to not argue and just let them go bac

Bad Theater Behavior

There was a pup in the audience when I went to see Girl From North Country. I assumed it was an emotional support dog and not a service dog, due to the breed. I wasn't seated close enough to report on his behavior, or his thoughts on the show itself. But I was concerned for him at the end with the loud noise. If the pups are well behaved, I don't mind it in the least. Especially with the appalling human behavior I have witnessed.
