one of my fave flops.

I love me and my town, and A parade in town is simply a gem.
musically, i think the show works well enough.
i'd love to see a concert version done!

Mamma Mia soundtrack missing tracks.  Jul 22 2008, 09:56:55 AM

re: TV Musicals Dead? (Did Stephen Schwartz kill them? :P )  May 25 2007, 10:36:29 PM
well, high school musical is alive and kickin.

i think the right musical on the right station is key.
i agree the best result was cinderella

though, i personally love when they tape the b'way production.
i seem to recall hbo taping Caroline, boy, would i love to see that aired.

re: My Fair Lady - ideas  May 18 2007, 03:32:02 PM
i idolize this show. its a treasure

i saw a lovely production with ten person cast, two pianos and hardly any set, and it really brought the actually heart of the story out and highlighted themes i never realized were there, this is one of those shows that you can make really different and it will still work. dont do the same production every one does.

re: OUR Lovely LEADING LADY  Mar 17 2007, 01:00:52 PM
i demand to see it now. hahah
i shall be seeing it next week, i think.

i saw it last tuesday and couldnt keep my eyes off of her, and she was in the ensemble. i love her. shes wonderful.
re: Les Mis- 3/7 with Lea  Mar 8 2007, 01:24:43 PM
I too saw the show last night.

I agree, Lea was fantastic. such an exciting experience to see someone who you've admired on recording..live for the first time. Lea gave great fragility to the role while at the same time, not making the character weak. Her dreamed a dream was fantastic. as was her death scene. you really sensed hallucinations and that the end was near.

This was my first time seeing the "revival". Having seen the original and also having seen it done in high sch

Was Jennifer Holliday ever considered for the title role in Caroline, or Change?  Feb 5 2007, 02:28:52 PM

re: MERYL STREEP To Star In MAMMA MIA! Movie??  Jan 13 2007, 12:54:37 AM
I, for one, am thrilled with the idea of streep in the role.

I love the idea of degarmo involved with the film, but i'd like to see her as one of sophie's friends.

I Love the anne hathaway idea however, want her in gypsy and don't want prada part 2.
I also like the idea of mandy moore.
....ps- emmy is recording an album so after she will probably be promoting it and such so wouldn't be able to be sophie, which i'm okay with.
....i kinda wish reese or jenny garner
