Not yet.  Just keep checking here on Broadwayworld.

The Marriott Marquis, which revamped Times Square, turns 40 today

UncleCharlie said: "I suppose none of the people here gripping about the Marquis have ever used their wonderful, spotless bathrooms or their comfortable 8th floor lobby to kill time and relax before a show."

Perfectly said!  Love it.  :)  I've used the restrooms on the 8th floor lobby many, many times over the decades and have hung out in the lobby before seeing a show.  I've never had any issues at all with Security, or anything

Absolutely!  I saw the Encores production of the show in 2018.  I've always thought that Rob McClure would make a wonderful Bill Snibson.  The show is just so joyous!

I see both sides of the coin regarding the tearing down of the theatres, and building the hotel that was the start of the revitalization of Times Square.

Absolutely!  What he has done for theatre has been life changing for performers and theatre goers over many decades.

Wow!  Very excited about this.  Have tickets for Saturday, November 22nd at 5pm.  It will be a 3 show day with "Oh, Mary!" at 5pm.  Love Jane K!  This will be my 3rd time seeing the show.

Really looking forward to seeing the show.  Have tickets for Saturday night, 11/22.

"Almost a concert" means just that.  I'm sure we can all agree that it's rather pointless to make judgements on something that nobody has seen or experienced yet.

Hello Dolly Regional

BwayLB, as you and have discussed several times, Musical Theatre West always does great shows.  The company is 73 years old, and still in existence.  It's an amazing feat as they first started out as The Whittier Civic Light Opera, and did 2 shows a year, for just 2 days each.  So many musical theatre/civic light opera companies in So Cal have closed over the decades, too.

Full disclosure - I'm a little biased as I have done quite a

Your first Broadway show?
 Aug 26 2025, 11:40:24 AM

My first Broadway show was "Starlight Express," July 1988.  Got a ticket at TKTS, and then had dinner before the show at Sizzler - where Ellen's Diner is now.  Loved the show.  Just so much fun.  I had a fantastic seat, way down front, inside the figure 8.  Each time the skating would start, the glass walls would come up and the sirens would start.

I also saw "42nd Street," "Broadway Bound" with Joan Rivers, and

How Bad Will the Kennedy Center Honors Be

The list of gifted artists is so long who haven't received a KC honor.  Tomorrow's announcement will be interesting.

Just In Time Seating

If you haven't already, check out View From My Seat's website for The Circle In The Square.  Link is below.  Lots of pics on there from "Just In Time."  I saw the show in May and did Standing Room.  Unless you're to the extreme side, you'll miss some of the action on the main stage.  Otherwise, any seat is good!

Audience rewards missing points requests
 Jul 26 2025, 01:40:17 PM

Add me to the very long list of people who are still missing points from past ticket orders.  How can something so simple, be so difficult to just add the points?  The "new & improved" site is a joke.  And, who are those 3 gals on the home page of the site?  They certainly don't look like they are about to see a Broadway show.  They look like they are about to hit a grunge concert in some dive basement bar.  Uck!

It's

Yes, I remember when it was announced in December.  This article looks more current.   I was trying to find the old thread from back in December here on the boards, but couldn't locate it.  I would have attached it there.  Hope it's ok to post here.  If not, please let me know, and I can email the site's moderator and have it removed.

New Barbra Streisand Album
 Jun 25 2025, 06:52:03 PM

I remember that.  That heckler was an idiot.  What gives him the right to do that, when everyone else was listening, paying attention and being respectful.  Unfortunately, there's always one in every crowd.

New Barbra Streisand Album

Her team has confirmed that there won't be any tv appearances for the promotion of the new album.  If you read her autobiography, she's pretty clear that performing in concert again, is the last thing that she wants to do.  And, she's 83 years old.  Enjoying her life and her family is her #1 priority.  As well it should be.  :)

It's 9:15am here in Los Angeles, and I just now got the email code for the presale, that was to have been sent at 8am PST.  What the FOCKER?  So crazy that this is so incredibly unorganized.

Thanks for posting the code. I'm in Los Angeles, and it's 8:30am right now, and I still haven't gotten the code.  So absurd.

Was able to get rear Orchestra seats for Saturday, 11/22, evening show for $186 each.
