Redwood off to a strong start!  Gypsy is going strong, Sunset Blvd. losing steam. 

Lloyd Webber starts the song with Sondheim's "Stay With Me" from Into the Woods, and ends it with Hamlisch's "What I Did for Love" from A Chorus Line.  Hmmm

I truly don’t understand the raves this musical has gotten.  I kept waiting for the action to start, but nothing ever happened. 

Old Friends also has a Sunday evening performance March 30 at 7pm.  Harry Potter has a number of Sunday evening performances throughout March. 

Where was security to haul them out??  It looks like they were politely asked to leave the stage lol

I really hope the critics have a more discerning view of this musical when it comes to Broadway. I personally thought it was mostly a waste of space downtown. 

What’s next for Studio 54?

I sat in the rear side orchestra for Swept Away and thought it was a pretty good seat.  It’s nice and high up.  Dead outlaw is such a small musical, I’d recommend the orchestra rather than the balcony. 

I would love to see Rosie O’Donnell or Whoopi Goldberg host again.  Kristin Chenoweth and Alan again. I agree, I want someone snarky. 

Buena Vista Social Club has a Sunday evening performance March 23 at 7:30.  Titanique, Little shop, Wicked, Chicago have Sunday evening performances. Love Life at City Center has a Sunday evening performance on March 30 at 7pm. 

I’d also see Gypsy and Maybe Happy Ending.  Also, Operation Mincemeat, Buena Vista Social Club, and Floyd Collins

I like the idea of Jinx hosting, but maybe RuPaul could do it??  He'd be fab

She's performing on Colbert tonight.  Given this new round of press, they can barely make it to July, and you think someone else coming in is gonna make money?  Sunset was the big launch right out of the gate, Gypsy and Audra are playing this like Tom Brady.  Behind the entire game until you pull ahead in the last 30 seconds.  I fully expect Audra to be everywhere during Tony time, and will probably extend til Labor Day.

I really hope it’s Colbert. I don’t think anyone is as funny and charming as he is.  I suppose they could get Corden again, but I wasn’t crazy about his hosting.

I think people on this board are severely overestimating sunset boulevard.  The feeling out there in the community is not nearly as pro sunset as on here. I mean, Gypsy got across the board better reviews than Sunset did.  

But he’ll have Evita and Cats be in the same season? I mean, the last time sunset boulevard came to Broadway, it was the same season as the last cast revival.  What exactly would a Tony do for these productions anyway?  I doubt Sunset wins much at the Tony’s.  Floyd Collins has a better chance at best revival at this point. 

I heard there was trouble in paradise between Foster and McPhee, but maybe Trump has rekindled their marriage.  Anyway, the man knows how to write a good tune.

Behar's latest endeavor is her play "My First Ex-Husband" which is holding its world premiere starting Jan. 29 at MMAC Theater, 248 W. 60th St. in Manhattan. It's the first production at the newly renovated theater.  The title is self explanatory.  Looking forward to this one!
