*Does anyone know if there'll be a London Cast Recording of Wicked?
* What if they made a Wicked studio album using different members from different casts for each song (i.e. Idina on Defying Gravity, Ana on No Good Deed). I understand that this would be VERY VERY VERY VERY unlikely, but wouldn't it be cool??

Eartha would be good...but Harvey would be great.
The character of Ursula was actually based on Divine's protrayl of Dawn Davenport in John Wtaer's 1974 film, Female Trouble. Divine also played Edna in the 1988 John Water's film, Hairspay. Harvey was chosen to play Edna in Hairspray beacuse of his "Divine-like" talent. Not to mention Harvey sounds similar to Ursula in the movie.

I would consider Wicked a semi-tragedy because pretty mch Elphaba does live a tragic life, things don't ever work out for her, at least throughout the show. Then again, there are redeeming numbers like Popular that kind of perk things up.

I think that the defying gravity pic is actually one of Ana....it sure looks like Ana....anyway, I think that Kristy is a beautiful Elphaba, I don't know how she sounds, and son't want to until I see her, however she is beautiful in green!
