Lead Actor in a Play 2026 Apr 1 2026, 01:37:52 AM

The role was nominated for a Lortel, Drama League etc. supportingwhen Off-Broadway.
He deserves a nomination in whatever category."
Actually, the role Patrick Ball is currently playing is what received a Lortel supporting nomination for Thomas Sadoski. I don’t think the original actor who played Max received any acting nominations.

Great actor, and I look forward to seeing his performance later this week, but is he considered lead or featured?"
I would consider Alden and Lauren Patten to be the leads, and you could argue as to whether the roles

It sounds like you caught everything from Row M. The scene in question is: |

And yet that was the longest line I’ve ever seen for mech at any Broadway show. Lol, it was like a concert.

THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW Previews Mar 27 2026, 12:13:39 AM
Overall I loved it! They clearly weren’t rehearsed for callbacks, but Dratch more than anyone did a great job of changing her performance early on to accommodate them. Highlights for me were Evans (as I expected), Hsu, and Gray. The only lowlight was Lewis as Magenta (though she started the show off great as the usherette). I really enjoyed everyone else. As mentioned above, Rocky’s costume was weird and I expected him to strip down to just the jockstrap that I coul

Box seats now available to purchase online. Anyone know which seat (there’s 5 on each side) and which side would be best? Thanks!

Cats: The Jellicle Ball to Broadway Jan 20 2026, 10:55:15 AM
I think the best view is going to depend on how high the stage is. Could be that the mezzanine might be the best view to see the considerable “floorwork.” The onstage seating seems less desirable to me given the stage layout, I imagine the performers will be facing more to the rest of the house. BUT, this will likely be completely restaged from what was at PAC so I probably won’t buy until previews start.

Official: TITANIQUE to dock at the St. James, March 2026 (16 Weeks Only) Dec 15 2025, 11:00:15 AM
I get their strategy, but is it assured that Titanique would be considered a new musical for Tony noms? Could this be deemed a "classic" and go into the best revival category? Does having more or less of the original cast involved make the committee lean one way or another? Just a thought, no hate please.

Thomas Kail to direct Michelle Williams and Mike Faist in ANNA CHRISTIE for St. Ann's Warehouse Dec 5 2025, 09:37:57 AM
Late start last night (audience had to hang out in the lobby until about 7:45) so maybe they're still changing things up. Preshow with the actors assembling the barroom set while we were taking our seats. The glass bottles are caged along the back of the space (kinda looks like the Reddit pic but with a metal fence added, did they ever actually remove the bottles?). The first half was just okay for me, but I thought the second half was excellent with the exception

Tony Award for Blackbird? Nomination yes, win no (went to Jessica Lange). For me, Michelle Williams in Cabaret lacked the fun and charisma behind what makes Sally irresistible to those around her. Emma Stone nailed it though, she was an amazing Sally.

Seaview To Lead Produce Broadway Transfer Of Nov 13 2025, 10:34:47 AM
Presale started (with code YELLOW). There is onstage seating ($250) though much of it appears to be held back (rush?). FYI, Saturdays are 5 and 8:30 pm. I love a Saturday 5 pm show, one of the reasons I've seen every Mary so far (I don't live in NYC).

Yes. They added on-stage seating after the general onside for the most recent Bway Our Town. Unfortunately, sitting on stage was the highlight of that

Ariana DeBose to lead THE BAKER'S WIFE at Classic Stage Company Sep 13 2025, 09:27:52 PM
Dan6 said: "I’m desperately hoping to see this when I get to NY on January 2, which would require a three-week extension. Does anyone know if CSC generally builds extensions into their schedule and contracts? I have to assume with this cast an extension through the holidays is a possibility, and their next show (Marcel on the Train) is listed as February-March."
Per the audition notice, the maximum possible extension is only one week (until 12/21).
