hah no, sorry. Forbidden Broadway's "Camelounge" on Vol. 3 -- absolutely HILARIOUS! "Carol Lawrence, Carol Lawrence! It's Bob Goulet your former spouse." Sorry to disappoint, but I have heard nothing of the new tour.

Loretta Devine was the original Lorell Robinson. Sharon Brown - I believe - was Jennifer's first replacement. As far as the men go, I wouldn't say that Eddie's part (Jimmy Early) is any bigger than Jamie's (Curtis). In fact, wasn't Ben Harney nominated for Best Leading Actor while Cleavant Derricks won for Supporting?

It never musically reaches any peaks. The ballads are beautiful (Pretty Lady, Bowler Hat), I enjoy the added dialogue and I like B.D. Wong - a lot - but the songs never reach the brilliance of the OBC. It's a shame too, I actually liked the new staging. The kabuki was a wonderful concept (an authentic re-telling) bu

at least Holliday had already done "Your Arms Too Short to Box with God" when she was cast as Effie. I am totally skeptical about this idea.

Damn - I was really looking forward to the possibility of seeing Merrily. It's been quite a while since I've seen a production of that brilliant show. I guess I'll have to somehow take your word for it!

WONDERFUL disc - It's must have for any musical theatre collector. My favorites constantly change. Currently I'm partial to Simple (Callaway), New Words (Barrett), Unusual Way (James) and Grandmother's Love Letters (Ebersole).
