It would seem that way unless they're doing it locally and their other tour import is a White Christmas mini-tour. They usually do 2 tours and BTTF is definitely one. Not aware of a BRIGADOON, SPAMALOT, or XANADU tour and I doubt they're doing 5 local shows."

There is a Spamalot tour launching September 2025, so that's probably the touring production

Ken Page has passed away at 70
 Oct 1 2024, 10:18:33 AM

I remember seeing CATS early in its original run. Ken, as Old Deuteronomy, would stay on stage during intermission and you could walk up and interact with him. I was probably 11 or 12. He was so kind and welcoming. Saw him in several things after that but never forgot that day.

Is Satine really gone at the end of the play?
 Feb 18 2024, 06:06:23 PM

Very dead.

She's asleep
Taking the big nap
She's gone
She has left the building
Resting in peace
Slipped away quietly
Got a one-way ticket
Went to the lone couch of everlasting sleep
She has cashed in her chips
It's her final curtain call
She has become living-challenged or living-impaired
She is trending towards a state of chemical equilibrium
She has become a root inspector
Bought a pine condo

On desktop (safari) the top menu disappears when scrolling down and you have to scroll back up to get it back. I'd suggest that it stays regardless of direction.

Seth Rudetsky's new book is FABULOUS

Couldn't agree more. As someone who just published a book (not about Broadway), my co-authors and I worked hard to make sure errors were corrected and an outside proofreader picked our work apart. I don't understand why someone with Seth's level of visibility (which is much higher than ours) would allow an unfinished or unedited work to be published. It's not a g

I would presume it will vary by market but like with the Covid delays/cancellations I would bet they will try to get us to keep a credit and hope for a re-scheduled date or that we would apply to a future season.

For those of you directly affected/attached to this, what do you feel the likelihood of a strike is at the deadline? Is there a feeling that negotiations are continuing in good faith or at a stand-still?

Still listed for Sundays on the Sirius/XM website for the channel. Was the show not on this past week? I'm on a ship presently so can't listen.

If I could choose a seat I would probably go a few rows back, but it's an intimate story that does benefit from being up close."

Thank you so much!

Question for those who have seen it - how high is the stage? Getting tickets and have BB or A center orchestra available but A is premium. Worth the extra? Thanks in advance.

Broadway Channel part of Sirius XM Layoffs.
 Mar 9 2023, 05:54:29 PM

As someone who worked in radio for over 25 years, I think the most likely scenario is they cut the talent but not necessarily the channels. They could easily automate a Broadway channel with just music, no shows. Many terrestrial radio stations now feature pre-recorded voice tracking, often done in other cities, and those DJs sometimes voice 6-7 stations across the country a day. I could see SIRIUS/XM doing something similar. They already share talent across several channels as it is.
