Emmy Award-winning singer, television star and recording artist Joshua Bassett (“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”) will make his New York stage debut as Seymour, and Tony Award Nominated, original cast member Joy Woods (Gypsy, Six) will return as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors beginning Friday, December 19, 2025, at The Westside Theatre. The two will play the roles for 10 weeks only, through March 1, 2026.

It would be a record for this century, during the 2000s the least amout of new musicals that we had was 7 in 5 different seasons, 4 of them consecutively:

Majestic, St. James and Winter Garden?

Maybe the Marquis if Stranger Things closes right after the holidays?

I don't get this talk about Rachel and L5Y, if she wants to, she can do it.

Isn't it kinda of a concert show? She's only playing a week.

Also, she's done Evita and aside from the balcony, she could certainly not need to be in every rehearsal if it's the same production. 

If they get to open at the last day of the eligibility time, they could work this schedule, as crazy as it could possibly be.
