THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW reviews

I too think if she was in Featured, the Tony could very well be hers.

FALLEN ANGELS Reviews

As I was not able to get a ticket for this AT ALL, I'm glad I saw the Balusters and now have the chance to see this live.

MEXODUS to Return to NYC at the Daryl Roth

Clever, brilliant in many moments and with 2 artistas absolutely immersed in this project from top to bottom, I really loved it!

RAGTIME 2025 Reviews

Is this groundbreaking for a RAGTIME production? Nope, but still hit hard.

Lear deBessonet just knew how to stage those scenes and effortless took direction to create images without a single thing (hyperbole!) on that stage. I kept looking how things were being managed and felt like it's a very clever part of the production this direction. I know many people didn't liked that, but I dig hard.

The cast? Probably my favorite of all of these musicals. The 5 actors nominated

25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Revi(Off-Broadway, New World Stages)

Loved this production, I love the show, it's fun, clever and heartfelting.

The cast is amazing but Jasmine was out of this world, couldn't believe that was the same actress that did ''Boop'' and her voice felt... especial, you know?

My friend was a speller, he loved it!

NYT: ‘Well, I’ll Let You Go’ Review: A Fog of Grief (Critic's Pick)

I liked Quincy Tyler Bernstein A LOT, there's one moment that she screams ''nothing'' that absolutely wrecked me.

But I don't like these narrators in plays that almost tells you how to feels, so the play never felt great to me.

Also, the second to last character to appear felt really wrong in the play context.

Overall a 3 stars play but never really shined to me.

KENREX - Previews & Reviews 4/26 (Lucille Lortel Theatre, Off-Broadway)

Easily the best acting I've seen during this trip, Jack Holden was that great, that mic scene when there are like 5 of them together is just a feat ot its own when it comes to acting.

It's physical but never shallow, it's somehow haunting even when it is not.

It stuck with me because it's a very sad story, and they way it's done gets you too much.

The lightning, the music... everything is A+, don't miss.

Also, I'm translating his ot

TWO STRANGERS (CARRY A CAKE ACROSS NEW YORK) Reviews

The one thing I liked about this are the two actors, Sam in particular was very charming and tried his best to bring more layers to the character, Pitts did the same and what a way she has been since King Kong.

I think I like her solos better, but the score is kinda bland as a whole.

The book works better as romance than when tries to talk about rejection, but at least they were trying... I guess?

One thing I was not in love was the direction, it felt most numbers they we

THE BALUSTERS Reviews

I think it's the least interesting work I've seen from David Lindsay-Abaire but still very entertaining.

I very american play discussing themes that goes from racism, elitism and gender. Some ways to create a laugh are questionable, but I did laugh a lot so what can I say LOL

Anika Noni Rose is a centered human being that brings a quality that not every actress have, she has peace and war at the same time with so little changes in her body/face.

Burke was a laugh

BECKY SHAW Reviews

Was my first show of the trip and I LOVED IT!

It's my favorite kind of play which is about us and the way we do our relationships, and even tho not everything is very current, it is a very well done study about modern way of creating bonds.

The action never stops, the text and the direction has this beautiful flow and the cast is perfect.

I would say Patrick Ball maybe was the least perfect, but still!

Lauren Patten deserved way more attention than what sh

THE LOST BOYS Reviews

Michael Arden could direct Escape to Margaritaville and I would trust this man could made a good mise en scene out of this, because his direction here elevates a mediocre material that just blows my mind.

The score is a 150 minute long rock ballad that outside BELONG TO SOMEONE doesn't give anything above the bare minimum, the book is either boring or a mess (don't know how I feel about those kids) and most of the characters are flat, the lead one I couldn't care less.

DEATH OF A SALESMAN 2026 Reviews

Sublime. it's just timeless.

The text feels more relevant than ever, when Biff says he's ''a dollar an hour'' it just crushed me and that whole scene is acting perfection from those actors on stage.

Mantello is a master of mise en scene, even those concrete hard space that barely had any colour was the kind of ambientation that instantly transports you to a place you never thought you would be.

Lane, Metcalf, Abbott and Ahlers (where is his nominat

THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW reviews

I have to say that listen the first notes of ''Time Warp'' for the first time in a theater was thrilling, and the production is very good as a whole.

Will I remember for a long time? No. Does this production adds something new to this musical? No. But it was fun!

I know its part of the show, but the break it's not needed. ''Rocky'' is a vibe and I would to a straight 100 minute version without a spot.

Luke Evans, Stephanie Hsu and Andre

GIANT Reviews

I really liked this one, I believe the play raises more questions and provokes you more than it is interested in giving you answers.

And even tho is pretty clear you don't side with Dahl, the fact that is John Lithgow playing kinda makes you try to understand why such a big figure would say things like that.

The fact that it is about Israel makes everything even more current.

Aya Cash was a surprise, that final monologue at Act I was superb, and I can't believe Li

SCHMIGADOON! Reviews

Of all the Best Musical nominees, this would have my vote, but I loved the TV show so that's not exactly a surprise.

I like the humour, the cast was spot on (Gasteyer has my vote for the Tony), the choreography and sets give such a charming view to this property and I feel like the parodies of these golden age musicals was more a reverency than anything else.

Does Josh and Melissa feels like a couple that I 100% want to root? No, but at the end Sara Chase was great and that&

CATS: THE JELLICLE BALL Reviews

It's insane to me to say this, but CATS is the best musical on Broadway right now.

I don't know who had the idea of make a ballroom Cats, but it just works in a perfect analogy. Maybe those outcasts are black and latin people from the 80's that had to deal with racism and things like HIV and never had a chance to actually live the life they deserved.

But to turn this metaphor in a big, bright and genuinely fantastic night of queer celebration is right down perfection

CHESS (2025 Broadway Revival) Reviews

The amount of hate that I have for the Arbiter's character is so big that even blind the way I should judge Bryce's performance, but I would not have given him a nomination for such a exposition of a character. The book dumbed down the audience so much through this narrator/arbiter that I just wanted the scenes to fast to the next musical number.

The score is perfection, I had like 6 numbers saved to listen daily, and it's a vocalist heaven because every single person there

OH, MARY Reviews (2026 New)

I went back to see Maya and she was as amazing as I've imagined.

I mean, she took everything she was known for as a comedian (the many voices, the cadence) and made this Mary a spoiled little brat and kinda worked from the start.

There were momentos that she made me laugh that I didn't know if I had laughed with Cole (that yes, gave a better performance but then again they created the role) like the ''I'm wet... I mean, confused'' line that just had m

TITANÍQUE Reviews

This was the last of the 17 shows that I watched in 9 days and what a blast to end this marathon.

I saw ''Titanique'' in Brazil last year, but this almost slapstick humor really fits the english language even better, I really liked all the away through (also, why they say its 90 minutes??), and I'm IN LOVE with Marla Mindelle and Layton Williams, the Tony nominators couldn't be more right about these noms.

Marla has a strong stage presence and a pitch per

Very Early 2026 Tony Winner Predictions

I also think LIBERATION takes more than Play, I'm more towards Flood than White, but Manville seems too strong.

And as the days goes by, I think Abbott has a bigger chance than most give credit.
