 Feb 10 2008, 09:52:44 PM
It looks like Playbill Radio is going to do a repeat of the "Virtual Opening Night" broadcast they did for The Little Mermaid. It's running Monday, Feb. 25 at 2pm.

The broadcast includes the complete cast album plus interviews with all of the lead cast members and Alan Menken.

Umm... that's not the full review... click through to see it...

And, that IS actually a review... the weekly publications come out after the daily papers, but the see shows the same week as other reviewers....

and regarding his calling out of the NY reviewers... bravo... they are completely out of touch... this show is awesome.

The Wall Street Journal also had a similar piece... see below...

I was in the front mezz last night, and the view was amazing… in some ways, I think I prefer it to the orchestra. You really got to see the scale of the show. The sets and lighting are so elaborate, seeing it a bit from above is probably a better perspective, in my opinion.

And, yes, I echo the sentiment in other threads…. Sierra Boggus (sp?) is going to be a Broadway star. She is amazing!... and Sheri Rene Scott is so freakin hilarious, I couldn’t stop laughing… the show really is one

re: LEGALLY BLONDE ratings ...
 Oct 18 2007, 11:31:05 PM
I think it was really smart to do. there are so many people outside of NYC who don't even have Broadway on their radar... so, while this may not lead to immediate ticket sales, it's probably great for word of mouth in the long run....
