I have concluded the father is probably not Sam. If he is, though, Sophie definitely took after her mother in the voice department.

*Spoiler*
I too wish to find out who the father is.

Those all sound so cool.
I have never had a celebrity encounter at the theatre. Outside the theatre, yes, but you know. Sitting in a room with them (even if they are completely across the theatre from you) for 2+ hours seems exciting (does that make me creepy?)

Also, Demi is probably the only Disney Channel person I can STAND.

Apparently Demi Lovato was at Wicked this evening.
Just thought I'd share that.

Also, I was wondering, have any of you ever seen someone famous at a show? If so, were they at all a distraction to anyone in the audience? I personally think people would sometimes forget about the show and just sit there and freak out over whoever was in the audience. I mean tonight apparently people waited outside for Demi instead of the cast.

Moments You Love in Cast Recordings

I have a lot but my two favorites are on the Wicked OBCR.

At the end of "The Wizard and I" when Idina sings "The wizard (pause/music stops) AND I" I love the music in those last few seconds.

Also, in Defying Gravity where Elphaba is rising, the music that builds to "So if you care to find me" I think is amazing.

This board, this thread more specifically makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside.

AndAllThatJazz, I was about to say the same thing.

And as for the LizzieCurry quote, it has to do with a threat last year. I don't know if you remember a poster named "SpellingBeeFan4Ever" or something like that. Well anyway, he had Aspergers, and whenever someone said something even slightly snarky to him he was like "IT'S JUST CAUSE I HAVE ASPERGERS" he was also very annoying in general. Well, one night we got into this huge argument through a thread.

Well, naturally

BwayBoundJoe, I don't what you mean by explain. Forgive me, my brain is in summer mode, so I am not thinking completely straight.

"and when i get the part of Boq u can all suck it"
Mk, yeah, I will probably be filled with jealousy when you get such a big and demanding role.
TheatreDork, got it right.
Really, that is probably the worst argument ever.
That is almost as bad as saying "You laugh now, but when I become the swing in Wicked, you'll all be sorry!"
Also, BwayBoundJoe is right. It REALLY is not that difficult or time consuming to type out the word "you", and capitaliziation and punctuation are

I am excited for this. I live in St. Louis, but I usually visit Chicago a few times throughout the year.

I can't wait to see it. AndAllThatJazz, I agree.

I really do not like Patti LuPone's voice.
I also am not a fan of In the Heights.
I also don't mind the Little Mermaid >.>

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about the season. Definitely, but I just wish some of the shows would stay longer. Oh well, other cities have to see the shows too. =]

re: I'm listening to Wicked...

I listen to the cast recording every so often. I don't like it, but I still listen to it. Quite frankly, I can't STAND Idina in the cast recording, Kristin is listenable, but Idina's "belt" is shrill, and really annoying.

I think her riffs are fine.

I for one, am VERY impressed with that clip of Nicole.
From what people said, I was expecting a very poor performance, she does sound nervous as people pointed out before, but like someone said, once she has more shows under her belt, and her nerves are calmed, she'll be incredible.
I'm not a huge fan of that Glinda, Alli, isn't it?
I really like Nicole, though.

Well I'm excitedish...I really wanted to see Lauren as Elle.
Of course, I end up going on Januayr 31st..evening. So, I guess I'm seeing LBB. Which shouldn't be so bad, right? I enjoy Laura Bell. Plus, I'm used to hearing her voice, cause of the cast recording. Quick question, though, how is Laura Bell since she's been back? I know she's only done a few shows, but yeah, anyone seen her since she came back?

Legally Blonde Tour Rush?
 Dec 31 2008, 03:44:11 PM
Ok, so I did search, and couldn't find anything, and I tried searching the web but nothing came up most of it was all Broadway information. So the point of the thread is:

Does the Legally Blonde tour offer rush? I have tickets already for when the show stops in St. Louis, but I wanted to rush a show, and was wondering if the tour did that.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Oh, and Happy New Year's to all =]
