This killed me a little inside. Now to stop seeing Wicked until they replace her

WithoutaTrace, do you actually think that Nicole Parker was stunt cast?

You don't say.

Maybe not...but at least Nicole Parker was as much of a "name" as Eden Espinosa, Julia Murney, or Shoshana Bean (at least in the theater circles).
Dee Roscioli is a nobody...like Marcie Dodd.

I would say that Dee is as much of a name as the others.

I was really hoping that Donna Vivino would take over.

Yuck. I saw her in Chicago and she was dreadful.

Well now I can't go and See Wicked for the Next nine months. I hope they get wise and ax her quickly. I was thinking Colleen Sexton would be great, she understudied the tour. But now she's in Legally blonde Tour.

Me: "Would you like that with all the colors of the wind?"

I, for one, really enjoyed Dee in Chicago. Congrats to her, I hope she does well in New York!

Dee is great as Elphaba! Saw her in San Francisco playing the part a few months ago and thought she was wonderful!

Saw her in Wicked in Chicago and it was the best performance of the show!

It's Coleen. LOL.
She needs to get back to Broadway! Whether it be in Wicked or ANY OTHER show...!

Congrats to Dee! I really think she is a great addition to the Bway company. Her voice is gorgeous.

I doubt Sexton would be invited back to Wicked, considering she was fired from the tour.
As for Roscioli, I'm sure she's fine, but this news is far from exciting (nor unexpected).

Fired? Why?

I was under the impression that Elphaba was being performed by an audio animatronic robot created by the Disney Imagineers now.

There was a thread about it on here when it happened, which is probably long deleted. Apparently, she is exceedingly difficult to work with, as I remember.

I refuse to believe Coleen Sexton was fired. Unless someone can provide a source. These threads are always full of rumors like this.

While Coleen doesn't seem like the FRIENDLIEST person ever, I'd likewise find it hard to believe she's hard to work with. (Haha You really have to beg for a auto from her at the stagedoor!)
Something must have happened - either firing or she left...she signed on the tour (with Christina DeCicco, who was Glinda!) in January for a year-contract, and left EARLY in the middle of November. Everyone else stayed through January...hmmmmm.
