The Much Ado About Nothing starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate will probably be AMAZING. It begins performances in May and runs through September. I love love love both of them.

A friend of mine got a hold of some backstage footage of Scottsboro Boys. I think its from the Guthrie production. I haven't seen it on Broadway yet, but I've heard it was fantastic.

I was on a regional theater database and noticed some production stills for a reputable regional theater company's upcoming production of Sweeney Todd. From the production stills it was incredibly clear they were recreating the John Doyle production from the small cast to the female as Pirelli to the pretty much exact reproductions of the costumes and make up. This made me wonder: Are they selling the rights to the John Doyle production? Do you now have an option of original Sweeney Todd or re
