Aida Revival?

Timon3 said: "It is very similar to Chess where the book is trash, but the score is sensational. Don’t think Disney have revived a musical."

This is coming from a 4 decade Chess fanatic:   Aida's book was much better.  Much.  I love Chess and am paying an insane price to see it again, but the story is now a comedy and is ridic.

mods, delete plz.

Official: TITANIQUE to dock at the St. James, March 2026 (16 Weeks Only)

The cast sounds fab!!!!

Aida Revival?

This is long overdue, and I am looking very forward to it (should it actually occur).

Even paring down the Arbiter stuff by 25% would’ve improved this substantially. It’s baffling it wasn’t.

The wonderful creatives failed miserably with QOV.  Not beating anyone up, just speaking the obvious truth.  This show was a horrible mess, and the subject matter was extremely tone deaf. The  "wonderful creatives" failed miserably by not listening to any feedback from the out of town tryout--

Chenoweth grew up in a divided political household in the Bible Belt so her reacting how she did is not a surprise to me particularly as she herself was a swing voter until right after Obama was elected. All of this is in her book."

Kirk seemed to be okay with the concept of gun deaths:

But similar to the show itself, if people are mass-misinterpreting something, it's best to get ahead of it and make your stance painfully, obviously clear. She didn't do that. Which is certainly her prerogative. I know she's not MAGA, but because she hasn't done any work to really make that clear to people

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 12/21/25

Sutton Ross said: "Usually when a show announces a closing, the grosses go up, which was clearly not the casewithQoV. The show couldn't close fast enough. Wow."

IKR?  And the average ticket price to achieve what attendance they did have:  YIKES.

But yeah, lets blame it on the fans.

This Oscar Season Don’t Forget About ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’

I loved this little film, and I am a KOTSW purist.  I think the two male leads were excellent, the cinematography was lush,  and felt J-lo was decent enough.  I hate that know one knew this film even existed.

Do actors not sign a contract in regards of what to say and what not to say? I think the horrid reviews coupled with someone's running of their mouth hurt this show. Charlie Kirk is a hatemonger, homophobe, racist, and a horrible person. D

Nick is definitely the highlight voice in the show.  IMO.   I can't wait to see him again, am curious now about understudies.

Yay!

Okay, will wait to see Chess again until March and then fly up to catch both. I can't wait!

Why don’t Off Bway shows report their weekly grosses?

Is there a way to gauge how well Masquerade is doing?  It seems like they are wanting to stick around a while, and people seem to like it, but I wonder how the financials are.

Is there that much profit to be made off Broadway for that sort of show?

These performances are other worldly!  They did a great job.  Even Aaron on  ONIB sounded strong and clear.  KUDOS!

Should Chu Create a 3 Hour 'Director's Cut of Wicked

I think he needs to leave it alone.  The second film paled in comparison to the first. IMO.

Paddington Bway Transfer Possible?
