The wonderful creatives failed miserably with QOV. Not beating anyone up, just speaking the obvious truth. This show was a horrible mess, and the subject matter was extremely tone deaf. The "wonderful creatives" failed miserably by not listening to any feedback from the out of town tryout--

Chenoweth grew up in a divided political household in the Bible Belt so her reacting how she did is not a surprise to me particularly as she herself was a swing voter until right after Obama was elected. All of this is in her book."
Kirk seemed to be okay with the concept of gun deaths:

But similar to the show itself, if people are mass-misinterpreting something, it's best to get ahead of it and make your stance painfully, obviously clear. She didn't do that. Which is certainly her prerogative. I know she's not MAGA, but because she hasn't done any work to really make that clear to people

IKR? And the average ticket price to achieve what attendance they did have: YIKES.
But yeah, lets blame it on the fans.

This Oscar Season Don’t Forget About ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ Dec 24

I loved this little film, and I am a KOTSW purist. I think the two male leads were excellent, the cinematography was lush, and felt J-lo was decent enough. I hate that know one knew this film even existed.

Nick is definitely the highlight voice in the show. IMO. I can't wait to see him again, am curious now about understudies.

Why don’t Off Bway shows report their weekly grosses? Dec 14

Is there a way to gauge how well Masquerade is doing? It seems like they are wanting to stick around a while, and people seem to like it, but I wonder how the financials are.
Is there that much profit to be made off Broadway for that sort of show?

I loved the first Paddington film, didn't catch the second, but I read the third film - at least in the States - didn't burn up the boxoffice like the predecessors -- bringing in somewhere in the 40 mil range. It sort of came and .....went. Reviews were decent, and it's still in my "queue".
I want to see this show, somewhere, but my question is - IS this franchise as popular here in the States as elsewhere? I don't have kids, so I don't k
