Wow wow wow!! I hope they have some pre-planned dates, I want to see Nasia do this live more than anything else announces recently.

It would be great if the interest waned a tiny bit more so I could snag a single seat. Website says sold out - is it worth calling or should I just be stalking the website?

This is making me recall how it felt like the WGA strike was the best thing to happen for the Tonys. The pacing of last years show was perfection, and we didn’t have the banter.

I think I remember hearing only soloists are mic’d for the Tony’s and the ensemble is always a track. The drum sounds were definitely on a track. 

So far 2/2 for performances with unfavorable audio mixing.

Are we thinking they paid for all this airtime or CBS gave it in exchange for the Alicia/Jay-Z performance? There’s no way the other shows are getting this much time to perform.

I refuse to click the link and give the Post another view, but does the article mention at all the de facto ban on AirBNB’s in NYC as a factor in why hotel prices are so high?

Not that I disagree with the legislation, AirBNB is creating housing crises all over the world but that removed a huge chunk of the lodging hotels had to compete with. 

Have to admit I was skeptical when this was first announced, but that clip sold me. Huge fan of Omari and definitely see his hand on that choreo.

Does the Palace have the same capacity as it did pre-renovation? Wondering if the took the opportunity to make the seats a bit wider at all. 

This is really exciting! Does anyone happen to know if they have gone back to only selling box seats in person at the box office or if they are truly sold out? I really prefer sitting in the boxes there but it’s hard for me to get the tickets since I live out of town. 

Regardless of how you feel about Platt, I think we can all agree that the re-opening of the Palace was expected to be an EVENT and the lead up to this has been really lackluster. Womp womp.

Does anyone know why that role is the only one to have a standby? Is the role particularly difficult or is that something Shoshana would have gotten as part of her contract?
