MOTHER PLAY Opening Night Critics’ Reviews May 25

Yup - I was one of the unlucky ticket holders for tonight, despite flying in from London! :(
Can only wish Jessica the speediest and healthiest of recoveries. I have rebooked for tomorrow’s matinee. I’m sceptical it will go ahead, but there is always hope!

Ouch. Though as usual with these things I'd like to hear Moore's side too. Perhaps the runtime is a concern, so only guests that are extremely notable like Colbert and Redgrave make the cut at this point in the run. Shame for Musto though.

Yes, you see his backside and that's it. But from my seat on the end of the front row, I would definitely say that Russell Tovey 'gave it his all'... literally

Angels Taking the Simon for 18 Weeks! Sep 8

PepperedShepherd - i agree entirely!
For others asking, you had to buy tickets separately, unless it was a two show day. Though some two show days had tickets available for just one performance (this still wasn't the norm). I saw Millennium Approaches on a Wednesday night and Perestroika on the following Friday. I enjoyed seeing them separately and don't think I would've gained significantly more from seeing both in one day - it's the same show after all. I live 2

Hopefully scheduling will be more coherent than NT run. The final performances were a two-show day on a Saturday. And Millenium Approaches was done on the preceding Friday night, meaning that audience would've had no chance to see Perestroika!
Also no competition between this and Cursed Child. The length of AiA makes the experience so rich and worthwhile. Whereas the length of Cursed Child is a cash grab IMO (and I say that as a Potter fan). Could easily have been just one sho

Thank you!!"
Yes they have a large glossy souvenir programme with production photos and essays for £5. A similar one was produced for Angels.

Wonder if announcing the guest in advance (like Jim Carrey) affects BO much. Is there any way to tell?

Seen he's had Bill Maher, Arianna Huffington and Mark Ruffalo there recently - all sound like great guests! Would've loved to have been there for those performances.

what?! IMO thinking Hillary should have won (and as he says, she did win, Trump just won the EC) is probably a pre-requisite to buying a ticket! He doesn't need to spend much time convincing his audience!

I'd say it's perhaps most similar, out of the shows most recently on Broadway, to Oh, Hello.
