Going Saturday.
Will be there Saturday for part 1, and part 2 on the 1st!
Anyone sitting in the cheap seats (S-U, I believe)? Curious to know if being that far back, the show is still impactful.

I won't be seeing the show for another few weeks, but I opted for seats pretty far back in the mezz. Similarly eager to hear how the show is received up there.
Haven't seen an announcement, but a digital lottery is up. $74 for both parts: https://lottery.broadwaydirect.com/show/angels/
Maybe I missed this, but will there be a way to see only one part? I'm not jazzed about this cast and would like to save the 4 hours plus that is Perestroika if I'm not feeling it. I'm hoping this hits TKTS, but the digital lottory is parts 1 and 2 together and now I'm worried ...
I asked them that too and they said "at this time" they are only selling tickets for both parts. But, you don't have to go to both, of course. Just have to pay for it! How it goes I guess....

I would say yes. I saw this production twice in the theaters over the summer. I can't imagine it losing much power seen from the back. It's a large looming production, with some loud dynamic music and sound effects, and a big set. And all the actors speak with great clarity and volume, it seemed. Also, it will most likely make daily appearances on TKTS, so you can get a much better seat there for the same price.

The cast is phenomenal. So is the production. And Perestroika was just as great as the first part, if not even more amazing. This is unmissable, in my opinion. The NT Live broadcast was stellar. One of the greatest things I've ever witnessed. I'm grateful this production came to New York with this cast. I'm just sorry Russell Tovey couldn't make it, but every other member is here.
I am beyond excited for this.

This is my most anticipated show of the season. Love the play, love the work of Marianne Elliott, love Nathan Lane, so excited to see Denise Gough again after her triumph last fall in People Places Things. Seeing both parts on the same day in April and I am counting down the days! I almost bought again through TDF but the timing didn't quite work out with the weird preview schedule.

Me too!
I'm going on the marathon on 3/10 and am eagerly counting down the days.
Also: the oral history of the development and legacy of Angels in America was released last week. The World Only Spins Forward, by Isaac Butler and Dan Kois. I highly, highly recommend it.

I'll be there on 3/17, both parts in one day. I'm really looking forward to this...excited not only to see the material but also to finally see Nathan Lane on stage. Will be looking here to see comments from people lucky enough to be able to go during the first performances.
Saw this offered for 3 dates on TDF today. Unfortunately none of the combination dates offered work for me but please check it out if you’re a member. Great opportunity.

I'll be at part 1 on Friday, first preview, and seeing Part 2 on Wednesday the 28th, via TDF. Very excited!
Going Saturday and next Thursday
Thanks TDF
you can now purchase single performance tickets for tomorrows part 1, or next wednesdays part 2...making me think the production will release single performance tickets the day before part 1 of that pairing. check ticketmaster!

I believe in addition to the digital lottery there is also a rush policy to buy for one show at time. As of now that's the only way.
Does anyone know how first row is at the Simon? I see first row center available and it's been awhile, I can't remember how high the stage is. (Hopefully it's not practically partial view like at the Music Box.)

I don’t know how high the stage is, but front row is for sure too close for a show this expansive. Some scenes take place simultaneously all across the stage. Definitely sit a little farther back if you are able.
