If you try the lotto on Idina's last night you chances will be pretty slim I'd imagine, but if you tried the lotto on a weeknight, like a Thursday prior to her final performance you might have better luck... I'm not too sure how crazy the crowds have been for lotto since the last time I went (and won) was in April...
But then again... thanksgiving will probably be insane...

You should totally try the lottery... it's $25 if you win and they're front row seats... I've won twice... it's a lot of fun... check out the official website for details on how to cut in on the lottery action.

I've seen numerous posts declaring Brooklyn trash, citing most prominently the poor reviews. But has anyone actually seen the musical since it opened on the 21st? If so, did you like it (from all the negativity, I'm guessing most didn't). And if you truly didn't like it, how come... what is so awful about it after having seen it?

But what power does he have in terms of the rights to material from Gypsy? Why could Ms. Lupone not perform the show in its entirety, but could possibly perform a single song?

I don't have any new suggestions for you, but I'd like to reassure two of the possible cast recordings you thought you might like...
I love Bernedette's GYPSY... Rose's Turn is gorgeous, and you can sense this wonderfully akward warth and humor in her other numbers... the performance of her other numbers is what really gives Rose's Turn such a dramatic wieght for me when I listen to the CD... it's really a treat.
And the cast recording from the revival of KISS ME KATE a few yea

Um, okay, so this might sound dumb... but while I don't agree with Bush in terms of policy I think he looks terribly adorable... you know, like he would make a really cute stuffed animal... *cough, cough* then again that just may be me... or the drugs talking...
